Team Leader

Job Description

Achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and penetration within assigned area. Selling company products. Personally contact and secure new business/ customers. Managing team of sales reps within assigned area. Ensuring all targets and KPI’s are reached by sales reps within assigned area.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring all sales reps within assigned region reach required targets.
  • Monitoring performance on a continuous basis.
  • Train reps on areas where they are lacking / underperforming.
  • Ensure that all reps have a minimum of 90 outlets signed up.
  • Induction process of newly appointed reps.
  • Performance management of reps in assigned region.
  • Disciplinary management of sales reps where necessary.
  • Sending feedback to Management and reporting on status of reps in assigned region on a continuous basis.
  • Provide detailed planning by objectives for each sales rep and ensure the implementation thereof.

Issuing of company assets

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and through e-mails, and with both customers and management.
  • Ability to learn and apply information to perform job.
  • Ability to close sales by obtaining the commitment from the customer.
  • Be able to expand existing business by increasing portfolio and quantities of product range.
  • Needs to able to listen effectively, Ability to do successful presentations.
  • Ability to effectively service current customers by adding constructive value on how to grow their business.
  • Ability to grow business by signing up new outlets.
  • Be able to make effective does not interrupt and absorbs and retains information provided.
  • Handling of administrative duties by maintaining accurate records and feedback effectively.
  • Ability to effective manage employees.
  • Ability to identify problems within the assigned region and act proactively to resolve them
